Phil Frank

Phil Frank is an engineer, entrepreneur, and technology executive whose career has spanned some of the most significant infrastructure waves of the past three decades—from the rise of wireless communications to the emerging space economy. Throughout his career, Frank has helped build and scale companies across telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, and advanced technology, often operating at the forefront of industries undergoing rapid transformation.

After earning a degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan, Frank began his career in technology consulting before joining an early-stage company that grew through the dot-com era and eventually went public. He later held leadership roles across the wireless industry, helping build critical infrastructure during the explosive growth of mobile communications. His career included senior positions at companies such as AT&T Wireless and Nokia, where he worked on large-scale network deployments, mergers and acquisitions, and global technology initiatives.

Following a successful corporate career, Frank made the unconventional decision to step away from large-company leadership and return to entrepreneurship. Over the past decade, he has founded and led multiple startups, drawn not by financial outcomes alone but by the opportunity to build, solve difficult problems, and assemble teams around ambitious missions.

Today, Frank is the founder and CEO of Rendezvous Robotics, a company developing autonomous robotic construction technology designed to build large-scale infrastructure in space. Inspired by the potential to create the next generation of space habitats, power systems, and communications platforms, he sees the emerging space economy as a transformational opportunity similar to the early days of wireless and the internet.
